Sarvarigu Nayana – a series of eye camps conducted in interior, rural villages of the Udupi district – was inaugurated by Former Chief Minister of Karnataka Mr. D V Sadananda Gowda and MLA K Raghupathi Bhat.

Received the Times Health Excellence Award 2025, presented jointly by The Times of India and Optimal Media. At the ceremony held in Bengaluru, honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award in Community Ophthalmology and Social Services in recognition of 28 years of dedicated work in community eye care and social service. The award was presented by the renowned film star Sonali Bendre in the presence of distinguished guests.
